Sigiriya
Sigiriya is one of the most valuable historical monuments of Sri Lanka. Referred by visitors as the Greatest Wonder of the World this ancient royal palace and fortress complex has significant archaeological importance and attracts millions of tourists every year. Dating back to 477 AD, Sigiriya is considered one of South Asia’s best-preserved examples of urban planning and one of its most important archaeological sites. Sigiriya is a Unesco World Heritage Site.
It is probably the most visited tourist destination of Sri Lanka.

The Sri Lankan leopard (Panthera pardus kotiya) is a leopard native to Sri Lanka. They are found in a range of habitats, Yala and Wilpattu. Enjoy wildlife safaris in Yala, Udawalawe, Wilpattu, Wasgamuwa, Kaudulla, Horton Plains National Parks among others. Sri Lanka has no less than 22 national parks. Top wildlife picks are Sri Lankan elephants, Sri Lankan Leopard, Sloth Bear, crocodiles & alligators, Indian pangolin and many others.
